Step 1
Get race data into the Hub.
Download and activate the Windows Hub through your customer account. Run its Windows launcher, join the iRacing session as a spectator, and confirm that the Casting Center shows the field.
You need Windows, Python 3.10 or newer, and spectator access to the session. Timing cannot become live from a sample preview on this website.
Step 2
Create your race scene.
In Streamlabs Desktop, make a race scene and add a Game Capture or Window Capture source for iRacing. Check that the race picture and commentary microphone are working before adding graphics.
Step 3
Add the overlay as a browser source.
Use Add Source, select Browser Source, and paste the browser-source URL shown by the Hub. Set the Browser Source to 1920 × 1080 and put it above your race footage in the source list. For a transition with sound, enable Control audio via Streamlabs Desktop.
Keep the Hub open. If a browser source has gone stale after restarting the Hub, check the URL against the current Hub link and refresh the source.
Step 4
Fit timing and graphics to your scene.
Use Brand Setup to add your logo, colors, and viewer titles. Adjust the timing-board position so it does not cover the racing line or your other stream panels.
Check a driver banner, a flag graphic, and timing-board fades. Use manual graphic controls or automatic cues as appropriate for your session.
Step 5
Check a recording at broadcast size.
Record a short test with race footage and graphics together. Watch it at the size viewers will see it, including on a phone. Names, gaps, and session information should remain readable.
If performance drops, simplify your scene or reduce your output settings, then test again. Do this before the race starts.
